I’ve been terrible about keeping this updated, but the book is just about done! Just a few illustrations left and then I’ll send it all off to the publisher. I’ve seen proposed cover art, and I LOVE it! This is so exciting! Here’s a little sneek!

I’m decently over 5k words today, and with a generalized goal of 50K words, I’m telling myself that it means I’m 10% done.
Not really, of course. This has all been revising parts of the proposal and getting my head around the orgnization of the book and the new writing program I’m using (scrivener, it’s awesome – thanks Andy Ihnatko!). And I know some of the sections are going to require a bit of practical proof of concept testing. But still, I’M WRITING AND IT FEELS GOOD!

The Work Has Begun
Just a little update. Still waiting on the contract, but work is proceeding in earnest. I have great plans, a bit of research to do, and a lot of writing to kick out over the next 7 months. But this is going to be awesome!
